Hey Y'all,

New(-ish) Poster! Kira over at The Hearts and Crafts Affair asked us to work on a poster for this winter's fair... and here it is! Working on the posters for TH&CA is always fun, Thanks Kira!

We were also at the Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival this past weekend with friends / fellow cartoonists Joseph Lambert, Sean Ford, Chuck McBuck and Melissa Mendes! Here's the cover of the new comic we had there:

We're planning to color the comic and post it here, but first! - We were fortunate to be in the anthology Too Far put together by Mr. Joey Lambs for this past SPX. It's a great anthology with great cartoonists and we're proud to have been a part of it. We'll be coloring that story and putting it up here on the ole' blog soon and hopefully keeping a regular schedule with that.

We recently worked on a CD package for the band Killing Phantoms. Check it!:

It's a 6 Panel CD booklet... The first drawing is the exterior - the panel on the right is the front, the second drawing is the interior with song lyrics and the above is the CD itself.

Below is a poster that goes along with the album. The space on the bottom of the poster is so the band can fill in the gig info.

In other news, we just enjoyed a fine weekend at MoCCA 2010... here's the table we shared w/ pals Sven Fjord, Chuck McChaz, Mels Mends and Joey Lambs. Thanks guys! It was a fine time!

Also present at MoCCA was Caboose, a comic newspaper extravaganza Chuck and CCS Fellow Max put together. Something like 40 cartoonists contributed to the Caboose and it's really freaking awesome. Check it out here.... and here's our contribution.

We've also been working on some comics.

Excerpt from the Trivial Four Square Anthology from I Know Joe Kimpel, which can be found, like, here. We were in the anthology along with Editor A.L. Arnold, Alexis Fredrick-Frost and Sean Ford. They're pretty cool guys.

And we're working on getting a story for Sundays 3 for MoCCA '09. Which isn't that far away! But don't worry, it'll be there. Our story will involve a girl, a guy, a monster and a jaguar. Greetings, Y'all.

It's your faithful correspondents from shiny brooklyn bringing you some recent-ish news. We hope everyone is doing well, staying healthy and living it up. We (not-so) recently drew up a Eagle Fight Squad story starring our friend and colleague (and Ignatz winning (2 of them) cartoonist), Chuck Von Mcbuck. We plan to explore Mr. Von Mcbuck's origin in the upcoming Eagle Fight Squad story.

Annnnddd... We're Back.

Hey Y'all,

It's been way to long since we've last heard from each other. How have you been doing? What's new? Tell us. TELL US NOW!

Well, what's new with us is that we've been trying to settle back into life... something we sometimes can't believe, yo.

And what news do we have to report? Well, for starters, DTWA&K has been awarded the Xeric Grant for Wall City! MY oh MY, you should have seen our faces when we heard the news. Astonished! We were speechless, dumbfounded, etc... So for the summer, along with trying to keep our minds at our job, we've been working on getting it ready for printing.

There's not a lot that's changed, we would have liked to have redrawn the entire damn thing... but well, you don't always get what you want.

We did, though, draw a new cover. Check it, yo's:

It'll be a wrap around deal, so the right side is the front cover. We also worked on a couple of new design pages, but they're not all that interesting.

Summer has gone by too quickly, has it not? And yet, at the same time, we feel as though it's been so long since it first started. Oh well. In honor of summer, here's the other Eagle Fight Squad drawing we did for the Sundays Anthology, which came out this past MoCCA:

So what else has been going on with us? Well earlier this summer, DTWA&K was lucky enough to have a table representing The Center for Cartoon Studies at HEROSCON in North Carolina. Here are some highlights from that weekend:

We're guessing that's it. That's all we have to report. Oh wait, what else? Well, ok ok, we've also visited Vermont several times, went to a lovely wedding in Mystic Connecticut and have hung around NYC, walking reall fast. Here are some random pictures from our summer.

Hello Hello,

We here at DTWA&K are writing to you with heavy, heavy hearts. We left our home of two years in White River Junction, VT and moved to Brooklyn, NY (NO. SLEEP. TIL BROOKLYN!).

Oh man oh man, things sure are a' changing. We're sticking to the fact that change can be good for us... and that New York City is a pretty awesome place to live and are trying to have a good time rediscovering what we love(d) about it.

ANYHOW, what else is new? Well we're glad you asked. We were at the MoCCA art festival this weekend and it sure was fun... and tiring... and fun... and tiring. We're glad to present to y'all the Sundays 2 Anthology!

Hello World!

Our time at The Center for Cartoon Studies is at an end, a very very sad end. We will be moving back to the big city next week and, in all honesty, are quite sad to be leaving all the great people in this wonderful community. We learned more than we could have ever imagined from both the professors and students and are extremely grateful to everyone. Y'all will be missed! Hear that CCS community! MISSED!

Finally, we started sort of half-heartedly and very sadly packing up our studio space. Goodness, did we ever love having that studio. Chuck McChaz sat next to us all year and just about had his fill. But then he's one tough mother, so he was cool with that.

See? One tough mother.

What Else? well, today, we took good ole' Wall City on a walk around the studio. It LOVED seeing all the sights and meeting the locals.

I can't seem to say enough about CCS, really. Jason Lutes led our thesis studio this year and it was just awesome and amazing and it's only been like two weeks since we've seen him but miss him already. James, our very own school director, is awesome too... and so is Steve Bissette and Sarah Stewart Taylor... AND of course Michelle Ollie... we miss all of them fiercely. Too awesome, guys, TOO AWESOME!

Also, our day was rounded out by some enjoyable activities...

Rowaarrrrrr! ROOOOWWWAAARRRR! Secrets and Lies Y'ALL!

Recently, the very friendly Cat Garza asked us to do a poster for the book release party for his new comics anthology Secrets & Lies. Well, we could not have been happier to do it... hear that Cat? WE COULDN'T OF BEEN HAPPIER!!!

Check out the Secrets & Lies website for more pics of the whole printing thing. The Anthology will be debuting at MoCCA, so make sure you keep an eye out for it.

Anyhow, that's what you see above. Why the cat on the poster? Well we had a conversation with our boys down in R&D and they whipped out a report on what's popular with the kids these days and had it on our desks the next morning. Cats, its said. CATS!

Also, it's for Cat (Garza), of course. Just shouting a brother out. Not to mention the fact that we think roaring cats are awesome and couldn't help ourselves. If only we could... help ourselves, that is, maybe we'd be better off. eh.

So what else is new with us, you ask? Well, we're newly graduated from CCS is what's new! My goodness, what a wonderful experience CCS was. We couldn't get enough of it... but we guess we have seeing as we've graduated and all.

So, in the spirit of trying to keep this thing updated, we at DTWA&K offer you more Wall City Pages. We realize that it's a pain in the neck to read the pages out of sequence (as in this post is not directly after the previous Wall City post) and are very sorry for that. Well, we guess it's only a pain if you're actually interested, which we sincerely hope you are. Interested, that is. Hopefully Wall City will be completed by the summer... or by the fall.

Anyhow:

The color is something we're still experimenting with... fun stuff, though... playing around with color is quite the enjoyable activity.

(It occurs to us that it's a little early to be reflecting on the passing of one year and the approach of a whole new one, but we can't help it)

Whelp, we here at DTWA&K always feel strange this time of year. The year comes to an end, a whole new year lays before us, christmas presents must still be wrapped and sorted, much food awaits to be eaten.... just a grab bag of feelings.

This will most likely be the last post for a while, though maybe it won't... but incase it is, we decided to pull out a drawing from the archives. Here's a drawing from back in the beginning of 2006.

Several New Year's resolutions: Take out garbage more, not obsess about work so much, stop being so neurotic, stop being pathologically sentimental, stop being a pathological dreamer, value drawing time more AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, bring back the octopus.

BLOG OFF '07 IS NOT DEAD, BLOG OFF'07 IS LIFE!

Hey Y'all,

Lordy, Lordy, have we got something to tell you... Seriously, have we got something to TELL YOU. The week here has at DTWA&K HQ has been grim... oh excuse us, we misspoke... the week here has been unbelievably-overwhelmingly-supercalafragalistically-depressing grim. The reasons you ask? Well the reasons are several but not least of which being that people seem to be under the impression that Blog Off '07 is over. OVER??!! It's barely begun! we responded to all who said so, BARELY BEGUN. Or we guess it's almost over, seeing as '07 is almost done with, but, we mean... BO '07 is still going on.

And to prove it, we have the following to show:

WHAT THE HECK IS ALL OF THAT?

Well, it's our very own personal thesis, we answer! Yup, we've colored some more thesis pages... the ones here are pages 1-9. The color's we aren't very certain of... more playing around for the moment than anything else. Except for the pink. DTWA&K is very serious about the pink.

We also had a crit a week ago and that + looking at the pages after a bit of time, we've determined that a bunch of the panels need to be redrawn. All in due time, we suppose.

Anyhow, hope y'all are doing well. We had a blizzard here... the first snow is always sorta nice but then after that, it's all like, we don't know, depressing and annoying we guess.

Maybe not. Maybe we're wrong about that. Maybe we've lived our lives based on lies and denial. Yup, that's probably it.

Anyhow, here's a 2-pager written by the extraordinary Jeff Lok and drawn by DTWA&K for the Dead Man's Hand Anthology that debuted at this past SPX. We colored it rather quickly (lazily) for fun (procrastination purposes) but it was printed in black and white in Dead Man's Hand.

Thanks Jeff, you did it again!

In other news, it is snowing in the pit of depression aka WRJ, VT. We're going inside now and not coming out till Spring.

Exciting, isn't it? Killing Phantoms putting out their first CD together as a band.

Anyhow, hope everyone is doing well out there. We here at DTWA&K are enjoying the first blizzard of the season. It snowed like a foot (OK OK, we're not sure if that counts as a blizzard)! We're also enjoying putting on our thermal underwear for the first time this season. We'll probably won't be taking them off until April '08.

Readers, dear, dear readers,

The excitement here at DTWA&K HQ is almost too much for us. We're crawling out of our skin with excitement - literally crawling.

Let us explain.

Earlier this week we paid a visit to the basement of DTWA&K HQ, the home of our R&D department. Now, the boys in R&D are quite a bunch. They work all the time and come up with millions of ideas. Most of their are misses (like when they thought a small device used to carry around music they called the iped would be popular - oh, those R&D boys) but this week, this week they came up with a home run if we ever saw one. See the concept sketch below.

Though, not so fast.

Maybe we shouldn't be showing this at all, what with the level of corporate espionage going on these days... ahh, what the heck:

The first poster we did for that always fresh and perky nyc band, Killing Phantoms. They're keeping the rock real and playing two nights in a row! Now that's commitment. We hope y'all will be able to make one of those shows.

The second poster is for the good ol' Hearts and Crafts Affair at Cafe Grumpy in Greenpoint. The Hearts and Craft Affair is a craft fair put together by the one and only Miss Kira Birney... we had a table at the last fair this past September and had a great time. A lot of great artists and craftsters participate and I can't think of a better place to pick up some gifts.

You'll also notice these posters are my entry for the on-going-ever-exciting-no-prisoner-taking BO' 07. Check out my fellow participants Sean and Chuck if you can bare all the beauty!

Cough - Cough - There's a Nasty Bug Going Around (Blog Off '07 part 3 + we've caught a wicked cold)

Hello Everybody,

We hope you're doing well. As for us, well, DTWA&K HQ has been infected with a nasty throat bug / cold... we feel like being unconscious for about 18 hours straight... which maybe we'll implement as soon as we're done here.

ANYHOW, we've gone ahead and put a hold on what we were planning for BO '07 since we thought it might need a little more preparation and submitting (5) pages from our own personal thesis, colored. Check it below:

So what you see above is basically part 13 of our Thesis. We should note that we're not all the way done with parts 1-13, we started with part 13 since it was something we were relatively happy with. We did get some good critique recently on these pages, so there will be changes made soon. Well, maybe soon.

Doing Lines (+ BO '07 part 2 + What the Frick is Going On?)

What in the frick is going on you ask? Well, we would ask you what you mean, cause there are a couple of things going on. Firstly there's BLOG OFF '07 going on - that's right, we're in the midst of the great post off of 2007 our two colleagues Chuck and Sean who are both incredible artists and story-tellers. Or stor-ellers for short. It's just starting and already getting pretty juicy.

I'M SO JUICED as Chuck and Sean would say (in unison (yes, it is a little weird but ok we guess)) if they were here.

As for what else is going on in the drawing above, well we're playing around with colored line art (hence the title of the post, sorry to disappoint you cocaine lovers out there) and we're thinking (not sure mind you) of maybe doing a whole new comic for BO '07 (though I'll have to check out what the BO '07 User's Manual and Mandates have to say about this. We know 2 existing colored comics pages are in, but not sure about new comics pages - we're assuming 1 page is good if it's new and made for BO '07). So stay tuned, dear readers (or dear reader), find out what happens to our heroes... and to us, all of us.

We have fond and now (in our old age) fleeting memories of our undergrad years in a particularly grueling academic program going to Sidewalk Cafe at the tail of an all-nighter and sitting there, exhausted and dazed ,watching MTV's 'The Gring' (with the sound turned off) - a very surreal experience indeed.

Whatever happened to 'The Grind' anyways? There was nothing like being totally spaced out and watching people dance.

Dear Everybody,

Hope you are well. We here at DTWA&K are, once again, somewhat excited... AND, surprisingly, we're feeling good about ourselves. We always heard that was nice... turns out it's TRUE! Feeling good about yourself is, well, pretty good. All we ask is that this feeling will last longer than 45 minutes.

Actually, we don't know where we were going with that. Let's move on to bid-ness. Over the summer we had the distinct pleasure of designing the artwork for the distinguished band Killing Phantoms. Great fun, doing the album art we mean. And it was even more fun when the cd's came in the mail today! We wish we had pictures to show, you could see the joyous look on our faces.

Anyhow, here's a look at the artwork below. You'll have to excuse the different size things. We wish we could post everything in their relative size and keep them easy to view, but alas, we cannot at the moment. Which makes us want to mention that hopefully we will be getting a better more professional more improved more a lot of things website soon.

The album is a typical jewel case 6 panel gate fold format.

The CD itself - we've been enjoying wordless CD's lately - just a nice clean image, please... though we suppose it should be noted that it's not that we don't like CD's w/ words on them... it's just that we like them w/o words also.

We've heard Killing Phantoms will be having a CD release party on Dec. 7th at Crash Mansion in NYC. The date is tentative, but them rocking out is not. Check it out.

Anyway, the days are getting darker here, in VT. We mean that literally, today has been one of the darkest days yet. We're diligently preparing ourselves for the coming winter, hope you are too.

How We Almost Forgot About Having A Blog (+ BLOG OFF '07 part 1)

Okay, okay... We didn't almost forget about having a blog. It's just been a while since we've had anything to post. Today, though, today, friends, all that changes. We finally got something! We're filled with excitement over this:

Well, ok, not over the top image alone... that's not what's causing the excitement over here at DTWA&K. We're excited for our thesis, which is what the above is for. Wall City (we're thinking about the title... it may change). We're excited and tired at the same time.

Anyhow, we just got back from SPX '07 down in Bethesda. 1000 miles of driving in 4 days and still very very tired. Hopefully we'll be back to working at full steam soon and hopefully we'll be producing more and more post-able things.

Well, we definitely will be. The above is actually also our first entry for BLOG OFF '07. Something we're doing with Sean and Chuck. Stay tuned for the blogging excitement.

A Small Story Y'all

People, it's been a while. Whelp, we here at DTWA&K have moved our hq back to woodsy White River Junction, Vermont. Very different from our summer in NYC, to say the least, but we're looking forward to buckling down and hitting the drawing table pretty hard for the next couple of months.

Anyway, here's a little mini-comic we put together recently that had it's first appearance at a craft fair we participated in this past Sunday. It was the exciting Hearts and Crafts Affair held at Cafe Grumpy, Greenpoint. A good time, definitely, with good artists and crafters. DTWA&K had our own little table where we tried to hock posters and comics. The comic was started in Brooklyn and then put to the side while some Freelance work was being taken care of, and then picked back up and finished here in Vermont.

All twenty four pages will follow, but if you'd like the real experience of reading it, please let us know and we will make sure to get a copy to you (How should you let us know? Leave a comment!).

OKAY, BUCKLE YOUR SEATBELTS EVERYBODY! HERE COMES "A SMALL STORY ABOUT LOVE & DEATH" (yes, yes, we should work on a better title).

Frickin' Yikes

So we here at DTWA&K don't really know if we know what's wrong with us... Lately we've been in this mode where we look at what we've done a week or so after it's done and are really not happy with it. Well, we suppose that's been happening all our lives so it's nothing new. Don't mind us.

Annnnyyywwwaaayyyy... here's poster for the bands The Fur Palace and Trial by Fire. People, these are quality bands made up of quality people making quality music. Hopefully you all (all 4 of you) will hear of them in the near future.

We started the drawing while doing laundry (we only have like 8 (10 now after making a much needed emergency clean laundry will be needed or else purchase) (and doing laundry with some good company we should add - which doing laundry with someone turns out to be a fun and lively affair. Who knew.)) Ok, so to be honest, The Fur Palace is actually three of the members from good ole' Antler! and a new bassist (we think). We didn't know the name of the band until only after the drawing was started and luckily enough it sort of made sense. Not that things need to make sense, really, as shown by our previous work.

Alrighty. It's back to the real world for us. Sitting in an office, getting our work on, getting our email on, getting our lunch on soon we hope.

Summer-ing

People, we here at DTWA&K have moved our hq to brooklyn for the summer and have been enjoying it immensly. One thing, though - a nice balance between work and play hasn't been reached, but well, that's ok for now.

Anyhow, speaking of New York, here's some album art we did for one of our favorite New York bands, Killing Phantoms:

The template-ish stuff you see is, well, a template for a printer. The cd will be packaged in a 4 panel digi-pak. In the template for the album art, the top half is folded down and then folded in half. We're not sure when it's going to be printed up, but soon enough, hopefully... Soon enough.

There was a time when we were actually planning on doing an entire comic (well, a mini-comic) with just these hands and ribbons... but well, we suppose that idea just kind of floated away... to be maybe, maybe not tried in the future.

ANYWAY, yup, Antler! was at it again this past weekend. rocking our hearts and minds and souls even. Well, they rocked those three things of mine at least. It had been almost a year since my last show... good stuff, I'm very happy I was able to make it. I think is was also a goodbye show for Iver, Antler!'s bassist. He's off to MA... Antler! will not be the same. See ya Iver, good travels, my man. I'm glad I saw you in action one last time.

Which I heard means Antler! will be getting a new name. Fitting, of course, cause it's just not the same with everyone there.

Also, more bad, sad, news. Good Ole' Betsey (real name... real nickname too, she insisted we call her that) is leaving CCS for different far off adventures. Good luck, Good Ole' Betsey, God speed, as they say. Hmmm... that almost sounds like she died. So to be clear, she's not dead. She's off to Japan for some english teaching.

MoCCA, I'll miss ya

All went well, really it did. MoCCA was pretty great. Sundays sold out! For more info on that, check the Sundays Blog... we sold out Sunday afternoon. Sorry to all the folks that came by the table and couldn't get one. Well be getting them up soon on I Know Joe Kimpel.

Anyhow, for MoCCA, in addition to working on the Sundays Anthology, I also worked on a new mini with poet Jess Abston called Medusa.

Medusa, June '07

Medusa is a poem Jess wrote a while back and that we worked on to make into a comic. All the pages above were adhered together to make an accordion book.... over 5' long! Though, ok, apparently there were other accordion books at the fest that were longer. But I still like Medusa the best out of the other ones I've seen... I actually didn't get to see any of the other ones as much as I would have liked too... I bet those were awesome.

Above is my part of a round about comic my class did in James Sturm's cartooning studio. (The following is an explanation of a round about comic) J. Sizzle had us all come up with a sentence. We then went around the class in order and had to start a comic with our sentence and end the comic with the sentence of the person next to us... so all the comics connected.

In this case, my sentence was: and so I marched across the field, across the snow, across the ocean... and the sentence that I had to end with was: Sally jumped through the last golden hoop, while Mortimer laughed, choking on his ham sandwich (apparently, I don't know how to spell choking).

Anyway.... ummmm.... thanks J. Sizzle... that was yet another fun assignment!

CHICKEN!

Okay, so for the last class with the great Steve Bissette (at The Center for Cartoon Studies) we took a hiking trip up a mountain. Seriously, we climbed a freakin' mountain! And it wasn't an easy hike either... well not for us at least. We climbed Mt. Ascutney, elev: 3100 ft (I think), 6 hours toto. I'm sure seasoned climbers and hikers and anyone in reasonable shape are balking at how proud I am of that climb.

In any case, after the climb, Steve asked us to draw a two page comic titled The Mountain and Me... or Me and My Mountain... or maybe it was The Mountain and What I Consider That To Be... interpreted in anyway we saw fit. Above is how I saw fit.... It's just me wallowing in self pity, basically. And freaking out a little bit over life. And also I guess finding another reason to draw a bird head (not that I would need one). Drawn and then later, like just now, colored in photoshop... more coloring practice.

And Sometimes I feel like a chicken.

Both are from my sketchbook (a sketchbook I made from scrap file folders), way back in '06... Ballpoint pen of some sort, and some marker on the first one.

The top one is a page of clothing fold studies, the bottom one from when Steve Bissette took our class to VINS. A good trip, that one - the good folks at VINS had a private session for us where they brought out real live birds of prey for us to draw from. The kids were sitting in front of me at another session open to the public later that afternoon.

But... dudes, I know, just more sketchbook stuff.

The other cartoonist mentioned, Alexis Fredrick-Frost, is a recent CCS graduate and a great cartoonist. He really paved the way at Nomad for us other CCSers... in fact, sometimes, I have a hard time following in his wake. I occasionally scream ALEXXXIIISSSSS when working on the Nomad stuff... and I'm thinking of asking people to call me Alexis.

Ok, ok, in all seriousness, Nomad is a great company providing a great opportunity to some young cartoonists. I enjoy working for them immensely and appreciate the books they're putting out.

i used gold ink on the beak on the real prints. i suppose this is a good time to note that what i'm posting aren't scans of the actual prints but the color studies i do before printing. they usually come out very similar to the color study, but well, with screen printing there's no way that i can get it exactly the same. or does that go without saying? or should i be posting the scans? or is there a way to get them to match exactly that i don't know about? or should i just give up on life and accept it for what it is? ahhh, lot's to think about.

and go killing phantoms! hope you guys have a good show. i'll make it to one soonsville, hopefully.

well, it's not a trailer really... per se... as it were... as it happens. it's a promo trailer for a documentary by film maker Tara Wray, who will be here next year to film. she was here for a short while last semester and that's when she filmed the trailer, i guess. also, the documentary isn't commissioned by CCS or anything, Ms. Wray is making it on her own.

so the back of my head is shown... first person to find it will get a calzone from the calzone family scholarship (something Mcbuck and i are thinking about starting at the school).

I don't know about this one. It could have been pretty cool, I think (I swear!), but I'm not liking the execution all that much. I'm planning on trying this idea again for the cover to my next comic - which interestingly enough the characters are drawn on this poster. Well, not that interesting - I couldn't think of anything else to draw.

Maybe the thing I like most about this is that I was able to draw and print and mail it in like two days. Not a speed record, I know, but fast for me.

And, Killing Phantoms, you guys have guts for playing on Friday the 13th. I'm personally going to hole up in my apt with a pack of wasabi peas.

This was going to be a poster for a Killing Phantoms show but something didn't connect with the booking so sorry to say the show was cancelled. Oh well, that's too bad. I had drawn the poster already, though, so I took a few moments and colored it on the computer. I think that's what it would have looked like.

I think it just looks like a girl with her eyes closed.

Because of time constraints and stuff like that I was a little rushed doing this poster, but I still like the way it came out. The red text at the bottom wasn't intentional, though. I tried to make it the same color as the girl's face (or the color of the shrunken head, depending on who you are, I guess) but it just wouldn't read well on the paper once it was printed, so it had to be printed over in red.

Actually I guess it does sort of look like a shrunken head. Good call, John.

and it went something like: oh, maybe I can make a flyer for Antler that's just one line that forms the name, the venue, the neighborhood, the date, a line from one of their songs and some geometric shapes...

and well, it didn't really turn out right. There's no time, no address.... and oh yeah, you can't read the damn thing! dang. Anyhow, what it's supposed to say in the darkest color is: Antler, Cafe Grumpy, June 17, Greenpoint... and the second darkest color says: one of these days I'm gonna make a change (which is a line from their song).

But dang, it just doesn't work as a poster. When I gave some to the folks at cafe grumpy, we immediately wrote the time and address on them (Sorry Chris and Caroline!). Whelp, at least I learned a valuable lesson. I forget what it was though.

Here's a comic from my first semester in James Sturm's Cartooning Studio at The Center For Cartoon Studies. We had to trade scripts, so this here was written by David Giarratana who then gave me the script to draw.

I don't know if I ever wanted to be a cloud when I was a kid. But then again I never went to see a mall santa... and there was never a voice over about my life... so maybe I just don't know what I've been talking about.

Either way, it was fun drawing someone else's script.
